Abstract
In article the comparative analysis of schemes of manufacture of zirconium on the basis of technological and economic indicators is carried out. The carried out analysis has shown that in the conditions of Open Society «Chepetsk mechanical plant» it is the most expedient to use the chloride technology of the production, however at its designing it is necessary to consider negative factors of use of this technology, such as chlorine use in manufacture and necessity of working out of actions for decrease in a risk level of emergency emission of chlorine by zirconium manufacture.
