Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of the impact of tourism expenses on the country economy. Indicators of contribution to the growth of tourism income are considered. Classification of countries by position of tourism in their balance of payments is given. The issue of tourism inRussiainfluencing the state economy is separately examined.
